For about six years I’ve worked on this comic. I’m now coming to realize that in the same manner of writing The Last Khoorlrhani Warrior, The Nadthsade Dragon is indeed too being written over a long play of different false starts.

I used to have such a problem with that. Now I just see that’s the elipse of creative orbit.

This title actually started out as a novel I tried to write immediately after finishing T.L.K.W, thinking I was taking advantage of a certain momentum, but it was not be. Whenever it’s ready, it’s ready, regardless of what I have to say about it. Many good ideas have come forward I think in trying to write the next chapter of Jeshibian’s (and Mediha’s) adventures, and some of them turned into other sides stories, such as the Gwen chapters which you can read here too. Perhaps these are chapters for that novel I wanted make of N. Dragon. It’s cool either way.

As I’ve been working on narrating T.L.K.W into a microphone, creating the audio book, other stories are emerging as well. You just never know, so I’ll refrain from making any great declarations. I enjoy working on this story in comic format, for sure, a great experiment, and I probably will continue. The next chapter of the Nadthsade Dragon that will be posted, in the coming month, “The Dawn of Ecstasy’s Dreaming,” finished in November of 2022, will mark the beginning of a new phase, having picked up with ole Darlian Khoorlrhani immediately during the holidays of 2022-23, experiencing life’s challenges and set backs, and finding me parting ways in a manner and establishing… new fresher grooves.

Enjoy
