New Art and Artists Coming

Besides turning 53, and having just enjoyed my birthday, I’m really happy about the ball moving on a few aspects of this project. Firstly, Emanuelle Mariategue is pencil/inking “The Master’s Breakfast,” perhaps the cutest chapter in The Master Returns. His sketches have a charming disney-esque quality to them. Also Geoff Mosse has the script in hand for chapter 5, “Arkaya and The Tah of the Khoorlrhani,” which is the polar opposite, a profile of a man in a dark groove, looking for the answers against the horizons of his hopes and despair.

Each time I read that chapter it cuts a little too close to the bone and reminds me of our lower nature’s insistence that the truer depths lie with it and its denial of the dharma.

“That’s my total experience of teaching.” Santosha Ma said to me a night ago as we talked in her cabin, my headquarters.

We were conversing on the events over the years.

“That’s the most heart-breaking description, that even at the heights (depths) of your understanding (enlightenment), at the zenith, it’s met with the same denial,” I had said.

She described how those with a little (or even a little more) understanding in a way made a crown of sorts out of that understanding, and in their looking to the horizons were not happy and denied those who truly shine. And what is happiness but being like a child at play (to coin the metaphor used in chapter 5– poor Minot).

At any rate, I’m glad to be underway. Also Joan Igawa is also back on “The Feminists from Outer Space.”  I’ll be posting a few more images from that project at Santosha-Tantra.com in the coming weeks.

I think once I get these graphic novels done, I’ll finally be at an interesting point in this project and be onto figuring out what shape “Tantric Series,” takes.

Oh…again, I am currently working on a version of The Last Khoorlrhani Warrior with a royalty free soundtrack to remove any obstacle against monetizing (hopefully)  “Dharmic Sci-fi Fantasy.” That said, only tapes 1-6 are available at the moment.  I am taking some time to learn about the YouTube policy etc.

One more announcement: Francis Salipande will be adding imagery that will be added to tapes 7 and onward. The hope is to do a few more updates on the segments and have more visuals related to the LKW story.
